Sorry it's been so long since I have updated the blog. I was waiting to have more news to share :)

We will be 28 weeks on Saturday!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??? Only 12 weeks to go!!!

Last Saturday was the 1rst day of our Third Trimester. It really hit me hard. I can't believe it's the beginning of the end. I am not ready yet. I need things to slow down. All of the sudden it just seems so REAL. LOL. Here Shawn is getting more and more excited by the day and I am getting more and more scared. Don't get me wrong, I am sooo excited to meet my little boy, but it's terrifying at the same time. I am scared about labor, I am scared about how our lives are about to change overnight, I am scared that I have no idea how to take care of a baby.... THIS IS SCARY STUFF....Like I have said before, thank goodness I have the most amazing supportive husband on earth! He is just so precious and is making this whole experience so much more wonderful. He tells me everyday how cute I am and how much he loves me being pregnant. He says that he wants to keep me pregnant over and over (Yea, not sure about that one.... lol).

Noah is moving SO much these days. It's so fun. My whole tummy moves now. Even through my shirt you can see the whole thing move. I have not seen a specific body part poke out and I have not seen anything move across my belly. But you can at least see big movements.

I am still sleeping through the night really comfortably (thank goodness). I am just just now starting to get out of breathe easily. I have gained TWENTY POUNDS!!!! ICK... But the Dr. says I am still in the normal range (barley.... lol). It's crazy how adding 20 lbs. makes everything more difficult. I get short of breath just walking up my stairs. LOL. Shawn is going to start walking with me at night so that I can get my cardio built back up. Go figure that the girl who worked out 5 days a week for the last 5 years gets pregnant, AND STOPS WORKING OUT. Probably the worst thing I could have done! Looks like I will just have to work that much harder after he is here. But I am up for the challenge ( I say that now, ask me again in 4 months... :).

We had our 28 week appointment today. The Dr. says everything is still perfect! I had to drink the Glucose juice so they could test me for diabetes. I should find out the results tomorrow. Also, at our 24 week apt. they said I was moderately anemic so they tested my blood again today to make sure the the extra Iron I have been taking is working. Other than that... we look great. Now we meet with the Dr. every 2 weeks instead of every 4.

Then I went next door to visit my friend Candice (who is our labor and delivery nurse) and she did an ultrasound on me just for fun. Little Noah is just SO cute. He was head down and refused to let us see his little face. But he was kicking those legs letting me know he did not like us pressing on him. LOL. He has some meaty thighs already. Too cute. Looks like he will have his daddy's legs (thank goodness because what boy wants chicken legs like his mom?).

We got our crib last week. Our friends Ryan and Laura gave us their crib. SOOOO perfect. They are just heaven sent. They also gave us a changing table. We got Noah's room all painted and we bought the chair rail (although it's not up yet). So slowly but surly we are getting there.







We went to Shawn's friend Paulie's wedding this last Sunday. Here are a few pics....




We leave next Thursday to fly to MN for my cousin Jana's wedding. We are SUPER excited. I am SOOO happy that 1) I get to go to Jana's wedding 2) My whole family gets to see me pregnant and 3) I get to be with my mom and my grandma on Mothers Day!!!! What a perfect weekend this will be.

We start our "Labor of Love" Classes the day after we get back. 5 weeks of a Labor Class. Then we take an Infant CPR class and then a Newborn Care Class. I am also going to start going to a local breastfeeding group that meets once a month. I want to get as much information as I can!!!!

We miss you all and love that you all want to be a part of this experience with us. Thanks for walking along with us on this journey.

Noah is moving around like crazy right now so he is saying hello to you all! We will update again soon....
