We are now 24 weeks!

I can't believe that we are on the COUNT DOWN. 16 weeks to GO!!! I am now officially in "Freak Out.... There is so much to do"... Mode. LOL


We just had our 24 week appointment. We got another ultrasound and Noah just gets more adorable every time we see him!!!

Everything looks great. All of his organs look healthy and everything is growing right on schedule.

He is getting stronger and stronger (as well as bigger and bigger) and Boy can I feel him now. I still can't see him move on the outside of my belly but he definitely lets me know he is in there. He moves a lot when I eat and when he hears a loud noise. He does not seem to like the blenders at Starbucks. LOL. At night, I lay on my back and that is when Shawn can put his hand on my tummy and really feel him move. It's so cute to watch his face light up every time he feels a movement. He is like a little kid who just hit his first baseball "I FELT IT... I FELT IT".... Sooo cute.

He is such a proud papa already. He loves to show people my belly and rub the tummy as he says "This is our little Noah".... It's so cute. And he is just SO sweet because he tells me everyday how beautiful I am. As I get bigger and bigger and feel less attractive everyday, he is constantly telling me how much he loves to see me pregnant and how cute he thinks it is. Even if he is lying, he sure makes me feel better. LOL. I truly am married to the most wonderful man on earth!!! Noah is very lucky to have such a great dad!



I still feel great! I LOVE being pregnant. I got a back-brace which has helped with any back pain I was having (oh I LOVE that thing.... lol). So other than that... I feel wonderful. I have learned to sleep with this belly and I sleep great now. I am still relatively comfortable. No swelling (other than my chubby cheeks..... lol).... So for now... Not a single complaint. :)

We have some great friends, Ryan and Laura that are GIVING us their crib and changing table. What a blessing that is!!! We have Noah's room all painted now...
It's a darker Sage Green on the bottom and then a lighter shade of the same color green on top. We are going to put up white chair rail in between the two colors. Then my friend Megan (who is going to art school) is going to come over, and on this wall to the right of the window, she is going to paint the sheet music for an Irish Lullaby. So there will be music notes on the wall. I am soooo excited!!!

I am feeling panicked that we don't have anything yet but we are having 2 showers so I am sure it will give us a head start on at least the necessities. :) Shawn keeps reminding me that all he really needs is us and some diapers. LOL.
